The list below shows all scholarships that are currently open for students to apply. This is only a list for your information you cannot pick the scholarship you want to apply to because ONE general application considers you for ALL open scholarships. This makes a very easy process for our students. You must be a Moraine Valley student with a student ID number to apply. Funds are for use ONLY at Moraine Valley Community College and our Bookstore.

LET’S GET STARTED!

The first step to applying for a scholarship is to sign in using your Moraine Valley Community College credentials.*

*Complete the general application by answering the questions on the application which includes writing a 300-500 word essay. The essay is the most important part of the application, so do your very best and avoid using AI. The Speaking and Writing Center on campus can assist you with writing your essay if needed.

Be sure to hit submit when you are done and to fill out ALL questions and the essay or you will not be considered for a scholarship.

REMEMBER: You only must complete the ONE application and you will be considered for ALL of the scholarships that you qualify for. This application remains in our system until the end of January 2027 and you remain eligible for consideration for any scholarship open between now and that time.

Scholarships may be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books. Remember the one application * You will be notified via student email if you are awarded a scholarship.

Keep in mind when you see NONE in the Actions column, that means you will be automatically applied to this scholarship if you are found to be qualified. For these particular scholarships, there are no additional questions to answer, and no action is required.*
