Umeed Scholarship for the Advancement of Asian-American Students

The Umeed Scholarship for the Advancement of Asian-American Students is a $250 award that is given in full for the fall semester. The word “Umeed” means HOPE. This award goes to a student of Asian descent/heritage. This includes origins from the Indian/Pakistani subcontinent, Southeast Asia, Malaysia, Far East, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The student must also demonstrate financial need, have a 2.5 GPA and has experienced a hardship or domestic violence.
